The crew of the Herodotus Mission broadcast their first report from the Alpha and Beta sites on the planet Tefen. As they begin to search the sites, they uncover a city, a terraformer, over 200 skeletons…and a box.

EPISODE 2 – “Seh-Par-Ay-Shun”

EPISODE 5 – “Gloria”

Grief/Loss of a Child/Emergency Birth – A past accident that resulted in the death of a premature baby is described (36:58 – 39:33)
Mass Death – Speculation on what the last moments of the aliens found dead around the site might have been like (39:39 – 40:14)

The investigation into what went wrong during the previous episode begins, with Kathy and Celia taking the lead. Adrienne and Laura are unimpressed by the responses they are getting from back home. Gordon pleads his case, and Ben is caught up in memories and grief.

EPISODE 6 – “Well Within Limits”

CONTENT WARNINGS
Loud/Distressing Noises – A loud, high stress sequence which includes a loud alarm, four instances of explosions, two with accompanying distant screams. The same sequence also ends with a rising tone that peaks and distorts (31:13 – 31:49)

In the mid-season finale, Kathy and Ben are looking for answers, one in the present and the other in the past. Adrienne is trying to walk the line between dangers to the crew. Meanwhile, Laura and Gordon begin an experiment to power up part of the terraformer…

EPISODE 7 – “Seven Entries Included”

As the countdown to explosion at the Alpha site ticks down, Adrienne and Laura, trapped in different sections, do what they can with the limited information and resources they have. Meanwhile in the Beta site Kathy and Ben are on the run…

EPISODE 9 – “Knock Knock”

Adrienne and the rest of her team scramble to escape, but time is running out, especially for an old friend. On the run from bots, Ben stumbles upon something he’s long searched for, and Kathy is angry about secrets and cinnamon.

One week before deployment on Tefen, the Herodotus Task Force ring in the New Year while aboard the starship delivering them to their Season 1 fates. Over the course of the two acts you will witness dancing, singing, drinking and gambling, but you will also be privy to a number of intimate personal moments and conversations that will reveal more of the inner lives of the characters you’ve come to love and hate (and some you haven’t even met yet). What are Kathy and Harry up to? Can Adrienne and Celia keep the poker game civil or will their fellow players end up at each others throats? Will Ben even leave his quarters? You’ll have to listen to see…

SEASON 2 EPISODE 5 – “Victor”

CONTENT WARNINGS
Loss of Bodily Autonomy – Much of the episode makes reference to the people who do not have control over their bodies and are controlled by unknown external means. In three scenes they are actually present and describing events that have happened to them while punching glass walls against their will (14:07 – 21:56), (27:27 – 39:41) & (40:56 – 44:31)
Involuntary Murder/Cannibalism – A character gives a detailed and emotional recollection of his personal involvement in an act of mass murder and cannibalism while he and the others committing these acts are under control by an outside force (35:58 – 39:41)

Both Ben and Celia speak to Victor Hollister after Kathy uncovers evidence raising questions about his involvement in what is transpiring. Ben seeks answers to the past while Celia seeks the story of what happened to Nabonidus all that time they were out in the frozen wilderness.
